Mechanism of action

The use of active substances from various chemical classes ensures maximum effect on phytopathogens:

Timing and methods of spraying

Prepare a traditional working solution, mix 25 g of product and 10 liters of water. Experienced gardeners do not recommend using the drug if there are no signs of infection.

• The effectiveness of the drug in unopened packaging does not decrease throughout the entire shelf life. Almost branded Ridomil in its original packaging acts as fresh after 5 years of storage in an unheated dacha.

However, the fungicide Ridomil is not without serious drawbacks:

1. The drug is toxic: hazard class for humans 2 (hazardous substance); for bees – 3rd (summer limit 24 hours, apiary protection zone 3 km).

5. Ridomil, along with pathogenic ones, also destroys beneficial soil fungi, so its regular use and/or overdose worsens the quality of the soil. Accelerated reclamation of land poisoned by Ridomil using improvised means is impossible.
6. Adding compost, humus and other homemade biological products to the soil to increase its fertility in areas where Ridomil is used is useless.
7. The fungicide Ridomil is capable of accumulating in fruits and soil and giving long-term negative effects similar to other carbamate-based products.
8. Ridomil, contrary to advertising claims, is slightly phytotoxic (slightly inhibits the growth and development of plants). This is a common property of many pesticides, but in case of overdose or violation of processing regulations (compressed spraying schedule), the phytotoxicity of Ridomil increases sharply.
