Early ripening tomato is perhaps one of the most popular crops in cool regions. But even where the climate can be called comfortable, early production is always welcome. Particularly valuable are plants that can be grown in open ground, regardless of weather conditions. The Partner agricultural company, known for its very successful varieties and hybrids, offers gardeners another new product with attractive characteristics. It's called Antiufey. Our hero has not yet been included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia, but promises to be very promising and in demand. It shows excellent results not only in protected, but also in open ground. It is a hybrid, therefore it is labeled F1.
Description
The plant is determinate. The height will depend on the place of cultivation: in open ground it can be from 50 cm to 1.0 meters, and in protected ground it will grow to 1.2 meters. The bush is powerful, not too spreading, shoot formation and foliage are moderate. Tomato leaves are imparipinnate, of the usual type, with a slightly corrugated surface, green in color. Internodes are short. The inflorescence is of a simple type, collected from medium-sized light yellow flowers. The first fruit cluster is laid quite low - after 5 - 6 leaves, the subsequent ones appear every 1 - 2 leaves. The brushes consist of 4 - 6 ovaries. Pedicel with articulation. The place of attachment of the stalk to the fruit is average.
You can admire the fruits of Antyufey. The shape is beautiful, oval-elongated, the top is crowned with a small, sharp, perky nose. The surface is smooth. The skin is moderately dense, you hardly notice it while eating, but at the same time it is durable. An unripe tomato is light green, without a dark spot at the stalk. When ripe, it pours an even, rich red color. The pulp is very aromatic, has a fairly dense structure, but is tender. The cross-section shows that the tomato is very fleshy, multi-chambered, the seed nests are small, well filled, and there are few seeds. When cutting, a little juice is released, which indicates juiciness, while the chopped pulp does not drain and keeps its shape. The taste qualities, considering that our hero belongs to the early-ripening category, are excellent, the taste is harmonious with a predominance of sweetness. Another advantage of the variety is its large fruit. Tomatoes weighing from 240 to 400 grams ripen in bunches.
Bushes
This tomato is a determinate type, so a flower cluster forms at the top of its central shoot, which stops its growth.
In open ground, the height of Antyufey tomato bushes can reach 0.5-0.8 m, and when grown in greenhouse conditions, this tomato can grow above 1.0 m.
The bushes of this variety are characterized by medium spreading, the shoots are quite leafy. The shape of the leaf blades is typical tomato, the length is medium. There are small sparse notches along the edges, the surface is slightly corrugated, its color is dark emerald. The distance between internodes is small.
Small-sized flowers are collected in simple inflorescences, the first of which is usually placed under 6-7 leaves, and each subsequent one - after a couple of leaves. Each cluster produces up to 6 fruits

Fruit
Tomatoes have a beautiful oval, slightly elongated shape, with a characteristic spout at the tips.
The peel is compacted, strong, without hardness, smooth, shiny, and practically not felt when eating. During the ripening process, the skin turns light green. At the stage of full ripeness, the tomatoes acquire a rich scarlet color, without leaving a green spot at the base. Ripe Antufey tomatoes are large in size and can weigh up to 250 - 400 g
. The pulp is dense, juicy, fleshy. The number of nests is from 3 to 6, they contain a sufficient amount of seed material and an average amount of liquid.
On a note!
The taste of ripe Antyufey tomato fruit is pleasant and sweetish. The sourness in the fruits is practically not felt. The aroma is rich, strong, typical of a tomato.
Thanks to their thick skin, the ripe fruits of the Antiufay F1 tomato are not prone to cracking, tolerate transportation well over different distances, and can be stored in a cool place for a long time.
Characteristics
- Our hero belongs to the early ripening varieties. From the appearance of full shoots to the start of fruiting, only 90 - 95 days pass. Such short terms are a godsend for regions with short and cool summers, because the crop will have time to fully ripen on the bush, which is very important for obtaining high taste qualities;
- Another important factor when selecting crops for problem regions is uniform fruiting;
- The yield is excellent, but its performance depends on the growing method. So, in open ground the yield will be 12.0 - 14.0 kg per 1 square meter, and in comfortable conditions of protected soil this figure increases to 16.0 - 18.0 kg of tomatoes from the same area;
- The fruits of this variety are highly marketable. The pulp ripens evenly, there are no green shoulders at the base, and Antyufey has a high resistance to cracking;
- immunity is reassuring. Our hero is resistant to Alternaria, tomato mosaic virus, blossom end and root rot. Early ripeness allows you to avoid encounters with the formidable late blight;
- The hybrid has excellent stress resistance. Particularly worth highlighting is heat resistance. This quality allows you to get excellent results in the southern regions, where temperatures sometimes exceed +35°C. By the way, in recent years this problem has become quite relevant for central Russia;
- transportability at a high level. Dense tomatoes can easily withstand the rigors of long transportation. If storage standards are observed, the shelf life will not fail;
- The method of consumption is primarily salad. But the harvest of this variety can, if desired, be processed into tomato products - juice, sauce and paste.
Reviews about tomato Antyufey
Despite the fact that the Antyufey F1 tomato is still a very young variety, the reviews about it are very impressive.
Nikita, 36 years old, Belgorod. Last year I came across the seeds of the Antyufey tomatoes from the Partner company. The tomato formed into 2 stems. Tied it to 1.5 m sticks. Watered and fed constantly. The harvest and taste of the fruit pleasantly surprised me. Now this hybrid has become a regular in my garden.
Makar, 39 years old, Moscow. On the Internet I came across an article describing the tomato variety Antyufey. I decided to try it. Super. The variety not only confirmed everything that was said about it, but also surprised me by the fact that, despite the most ordinary care, it was not subject to absolutely any diseases.
Agricultural technology
Like most representatives of the culture, it is preferable to grow Antyufey in seedlings. It is advisable to calculate the sowing time yourself, taking into account the climate and growing conditions. For example, in central Russia, the sowing time falls in the second ten days of March. Seedlings necessarily dive in the phase of 2 true leaves. The recommended planting density in protected soil is up to 4 plants per 1 square meter; in open soil you can compact up to 5 bushes in the same area. But the plantings should not be too thick; the plants should be well ventilated so that favorable conditions do not arise for the development of fungal infections. Therefore, if the leaves of bushes growing nearby are in close contact, they should be shortened. The plants are tied to a support; in an ordinary garden bed, our hero can be grown as a stake crop. The most abundant harvest is obtained when the plant is formed into 3 stems. Timely pinching helps increase the productivity of tomatoes. Agricultural technology is common for the crop as a whole. But in a greenhouse you need to control the humidity of the air and soil.
Planting and caring for Antyufey tomatoes
The Antiufay tomato is not a particularly finicky hybrid, however, to obtain early production, it is recommended to grow it in seedlings. Planting and caring for the Antyufey tomato is almost identical to the rules of agricultural technology for many other varieties of this crop.
Sowing is carried out 50 days before the planned date of planting seedlings in the ground. Seeds are placed in seed boxes with disinfected fertile soil at a distance of 2 cm from each other. Then the crops are moistened and sprinkled with soil with a layer of 1-1.5 cm. Until the emergence of shoots, the temperature is maintained at +22+26 C.

Dates for planting seedlings and planting in the ground
It is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings in the first half of March, approximately 60-65 days before planting in a permanent place. Before sowing, the seeds are sorted and disinfected. Creating a greenhouse effect using polyethylene will help speed up the germination process. Seed germination occurs in 5-10 days. The room should be warm and light. With the appearance of 2-3 true leaves, picking is carried out (planting in separate pots). It is recommended to plant bushes in the ground when they have 7-9 leaves and the stem has thickened to 1 cm.
Planting bushes in the ground is carried out in mid-May, when it is consistently warm outside and night frosts are behind us.
The main stages of growing seedlings at home
Seed preparation Basic methods of preparation: heating, disinfection, soaking in growth stimulants, bubbling, hardening, germination. These techniques aim for different results and have different purposes. More details
Soaking seeds According to experts, pre-soaking can increase yield by 30%. The duration of soaking is determined depending on the solution used and the quality of the seeds. More details
What soil to choose for seedlings The soil for planting tomato seeds at home should not be taken from the garden. The soil for tomato seedlings must have good breathability, provide the required level of humidity, and the acidity level pH should be about 6.5 units. More details
