Last year: We were busy harvesting white cabbage from one of the beds. “Belorusskaya 455”, a mid-season variety, was planted on it. The cabbage pleased me with the harvest: the heads of cabbage have ripened neat, medium in size, dense, and incredibly beautiful emerald color! But! Suddenly, unexpectedly, some heads of cabbage cracked and began to rot. We looked at the package of seeds: the manufacturer’s recommended harvesting period for the variety is August and September. The cabbage is ripe, it's time to harvest! And then we thought: it’s damn important not to miss the deadline when it’s time to harvest . This is how the idea for writing this article was born
