The most attractive early variety from Semko is the Orange Beauty F1 pepper: description and reviews

Description and characteristics of the variety

Sweet pepper Orange beauty F1 from was included in the State Register in 2012. It is recommended for cultivation in personal plots, but is also suitable for commercial cultivation. In the south it can be planted in open ground; in the middle zone, a film cover on the beds immediately after planting would be useful, and in the north a greenhouse is required. The hybrid is mid-early, the fruits reach full ripeness 110-115 days after germination, and technical ripeness - after 90-95 days.

The plant is 80-100 cm high, in open ground – 50-70 cm. The leaves are medium-sized. The fruits are cube-shaped, very large, 150-200 g each, and with intensive feeding and careful care - up to 250 g. The peppers are located on drooping branches. The color at full maturity is bright orange, the wall thickness is 7-9 mm. The taste is very sweet, pleasant, the flesh is juicy.

The fruits can be used in cooking, fresh, as well as canned and frozen in pieces.

Growing

Early ripening sweet pepper Orange Miracle f1 must be sown as seedlings, this is done at the end of February. The deadline for this action may be March, but not later.

The lunar calendar for a gardener in March advises starting from the middle of the month with disinfection and systematic inspection of the condition of greenhouses so that they are ready for sowing. In this article you can find out.

Seeds

Seeds must be planted in pre-prepared soil, which is placed in a special box, and also:

  1. You can use small containers to plant one seed.
  2. The planting process is carried out to a depth of about one centimeter.
  3. In order for the seeds to germinate as quickly as possible, it is necessary to maintain an optimal temperature - about 25 degrees. Until the sprouts appear, the container must be covered with plastic wrap.
  4. After the sprouts of this pepper appear, the storage temperature should be lowered by ten degrees.
  5. After staying at this temperature for a week, it is again raised to the original values.

Do you think it is important to maintain temperature conditions for pepper seeds?

Not really

Seedling

When the first leaves appear, all the seedlings need to be planted separately in pots. But such a pepper can be moved to a greenhouse when it has at least seven leaves, and the ambient temperature itself is at least 20 degrees.

Peppers are often planted in a greenhouse in late spring or early summer:

  • It is important to know that before planting seedlings, they must be hardened off.
  • The distance between planting holes should not be less than 40 cm.
  • This variety loves light and loose soil, the acidity of which is neutral.
  • It is necessary to prepare the soil for planting peppers in advance, preferably in the fall.

The root system of this pepper is very delicate and susceptible to transplantation processes. There are no special features in the process of growing pepper, because the whole process is carried out in the same way as with other plants. Therefore, even beginners can get the fruit from the Orange miracle.

Features of growing in a greenhouse

In order to get a wonderful harvest, it will not be enough to create high-quality seedlings. This type of plant needs to receive the necessary care when grown in a greenhouse. In general, when caring for the orange miracle, there are no serious differences from other analogues.

For a positive result, pepper must provide the following:

  • High-quality and regular watering. If there is not enough moisture, then it is clear that the plant will develop poorly. In this case, the bushes will be small, and the fruits may disappear altogether, as they will be underdeveloped.
  • Peppers of this type do not tolerate a lack of air humidity. It is very important not only to water the bushes, but also to spray the bush itself and the surrounding area where it grows.
  • Fertilizing is very important for any type of plant. In this case, feeding is important in order to ensure that the pepper fruit itself is large.
  • It is important to maintain the required temperature regime. The orange miracle prefers exclusively warmth, so it grows well at temperatures up to 30 degrees.

Expert opinion Ivan Yuryevich Filatov, private farmer for more than 30 years
This orange pepper is very sensitive to temperature changes. If the temperature drops to 13 degrees, then growth stops completely. It is very important to consider such subtleties in the process of caring for and growing this crop. If the summer is relatively cool, then it is advisable to use additional heating in greenhouses.

Landing

Sowing begins 70-75 days before transferring the seedlings to the ground. For hybrid varieties, purchased seeds can be sown immediately without any treatment. They require nutritious, loose soil, for example, the store-bought mixture “Universal” and “For tomatoes and peppers.” To prepare it yourself, mix equal parts of peat, sand and soil from the garden.

It is recommended to take soil from the very bed where the pepper will be planted. Then the seedlings will better take root in a permanent place.

A glass of ash and some fertilizer are added to a bucket of the mixture and calcined on a baking sheet in the oven at a temperature of +110.

Seeds are planted at a shallow depth in common boxes or peat cups. Before germination, keep at a temperature of +26-28 under film. The soil is moistened and the plantings are regularly ventilated until seedlings emerge. Then the containers are transferred to a well-lit windowsill.

They dive after the development of the first two leaves. Harden off before planting in the ground.

Choose a garden bed in a sunny place. The optimal precursors are carrots, cabbage, radishes, radishes, legumes, pumpkin, zucchini, onions, and garlic.

Planting pattern - 50 by 30 cm.

Advantages and disadvantages

The advantages of this variety include:

  1. Good commercial quality of the crop. The fruits have a bright color, uniform skin texture without dents or darkening, a beautiful shine, and a bright aroma.
  2. Easy transportation. The harvest, even with careless transportation, does not deteriorate and does not lose its external presentation.
  3. Long-term storage. Pepper can be stored all winter, the main condition is relative dryness and low temperature.
  4. Various areas of use. The vegetable can be consumed raw, used for canning, pickling, hot dishes, pickling, pickling, stuffing.
  5. High yield. A large number of ripe large fruits, which can be removed from one square meter, allows you to grow this variety of pepper even in small areas or in greenhouses.

Disadvantages include rare changes in the shape of the fetus. Sometimes it happens that peppers grow in unequally elongated shapes, but this does not affect the taste in any way. Only the appearance suffers.

Features of agricultural technology

This variety is sown in the second half of February in cups (plastic, cardboard, it is important to make holes at the bottom to drain excess moisture). It is recommended to place cups on pallets for ease of transportation

Since it does not tolerate transplantation, the best solution would be to plant it in separate containers so as not to damage the roots of the others.

Important! This variety is very sensitive to air temperature, and if it gets cold at night, it is better to turn on the heater in the room at low power.

In order to plant it, you will need to do the following:

  1. Before sowing, fill the container halfway with moist soil.
  2. Arrange the seeds according to a 2 x 2 cm pattern.
  3. Pour on top and compact.

Important! It is necessary to sow the seeds immediately to a depth of 3-4 cm. Then the root system will form deep in the soil, and the bush will be more stable. When replanting, it should not be buried

.

Features of cultivation

In most Russian regions, gardeners will have to start growing Golden Miracle pepper seedlings at home, starting in March. In the south, you can try to sow seeds at the end of March - beginning of April in greenhouses and grow pepper bushes for the first two months in relatively comfortable conditions. It must be borne in mind that Golden Miracle pepper seeds can germinate for a very long time without additional processing - up to three weeks. Therefore, if you need faster germination, it is advisable to soak the seeds a day before sowing in one of the growth stimulants.

Growing pepper seedlings is no more difficult than growing tomato seedlings, you just need to be prepared for the fact that peppers develop somewhat slower than tomatoes. Otherwise, they need approximately the same conditions for development: moderate warmth (about +20°C), moderate watering (neither drying nor waterlogging of the earthen clod should be allowed), and an abundance of light.

Important! It is necessary to pick pepper seedlings with greater caution; it is advisable to do this no later than the moment the first pair of true leaves unfold.

A week or two after picking, it is advisable to feed the seedlings with a complex fertilizer with a full set of microelements in chelated form.

Plants of the Golden Miracle variety are planted in a permanent place of growth when the soil warms up to at least +12°+15°C and the threat of return of frost has passed. Good predecessors for peppers are cabbage, cucumbers and plants from the legume family. When planting, 30-35 cm is left between plants in a row, and the row spacing can be increased to 50 cm.

As mentioned above, the Golden Miracle variety sets fruit well even in the most unfavorable conditions, so it does not require additional processing. But it needs fertilizing to ripen a full-fledged harvest. Typically, superphosphate and potassium sulfate are used for fertilizing; solutions of humates and EM preparations can also be used.

Advice! During cultivation, peppers especially need abundant and regular watering. Under such conditions, the fruits will be able to gain the proper weight, and the walls will become thick and juicy.

The fruits of the Golden Miracle variety can be harvested from the end of July to the beginning of August, and if weather conditions are favorable, the harvest period can last until the first frost.

Features of cultivation

Any bell pepper, including the Orange Miracle variety, is heat-loving, so the maximum yield can be obtained when grown not in open beds, but in a greenhouse. Stunting of growth is possible already at temperatures below 13 degrees.

Agrotechnical features of cultivation and care:

  1. The soil must be prepared in advance. For this purpose, loosening, reducing or increasing acidity to neutral are used.
  2. To obtain high-quality seedlings, the seeds are placed in prepared soil in advance. This must be done in the last days of February. Maximum depth – 10 mm. The container with future seedlings must be covered with film or glass, which is necessary for light penetration. The optimal temperature is 20–22 degrees.
  3. Picking. For novice gardeners, it is recommended to plant seeds in separate containers (for example, paper cups) in advance to avoid injury to the roots. If the seedlings are planted in a large container, the distribution of individual bushes into cups is done after the first 2-3 leaves appear.
  4. Landing. The pepper bush moves into the ground after the last frost. Usually this is the end of May - the first days of June. By this time, the bushes should have grown to 8–10 leaves and inflorescences may even appear. Plant the bushes according to a 60 x 30 cm pattern.
  5. The garter is performed as it grows. It is necessary to use rigid, high supports, remembering that under favorable conditions the height of the bush can reach 130–150 cm. The formation of this pepper variety is not required, since the bushes grow as high as possible, the branches are close to the stem.
  6. Watering is necessary abundant and regular. The variety is moisture-loving and requires a lot of water. If there is a lack of it, the fruits will be dry, will not grow in size to the varietal characteristics, and the yield will decrease.
  7. Weed removal and loosening are carried out regularly immediately after watering. You can maintain the required level of moisture in the soil using mulch based on peat, straw and/or sawdust.
  8. Mineral fertilizing is carried out 2-3 times during the entire growth phase. The first is carried out immediately after planting the seedlings in the ground, then when the first fruits set and in the middle ripening phase.

When grown indoors (greenhouse conditions), the temperature is maintained above 13 degrees. In areas with an unstable climate, sudden cooling is possible; in this case, additional heating is used. In general, the ideal temperature in a greenhouse is considered to be 27–29 degrees.

This variety does not tolerate both the lack of moisture in the soil and dry air if grown in closed soils. Additional spraying with water from a spray bottle is recommended to maintain the moisture required by the plant.

Most consumers have already appreciated the rich sweet taste of this pepper variety. Agrotechnicians are pleased with the high resistance of plants to pests, the instant rooting of bushes after transplanting into the soil, as well as their ease of care and productivity.
