Description and characteristics of the variety
Double Abundance is a hybrid with mid-early ripening. It takes 110 to 120 days before the harvest begins. Pepper actively bears fruit in open and protected conditions. Ripening begins in the last days of June and lasts throughout August inclusive.
The hybrid is adapted to weather changes and is not afraid of cold weather or heat.
The bushes ripen from 40 to 50 fruits during the season.

The variety is excellent for growing in difficult climatic conditions. The bushes tolerate bad weather, low temperatures, waterlogging, strong winds and lack of sun. Plants rarely get sick. You can grow peppers of this type both in a greenhouse and in unprotected soil.
The ripening period for fruits of the Miracle of Moscow region variety is about 100 days. Peppers can be added to salads and appetizers already at their technical ripeness. And fully ripened pods are perfect for drying and preparing seasonings.
Jalapeño
A widely known Mexican variety that amateur gardeners happily grow on almost all continents. The variety is especially popular due to the high yield and strong pungency of ripening peppers.
The bushes grow a meter high, but because of the rich green crown they look very sweeping and voluminous. Each bush is overgrown with 25-30 pepper capsules. Miniature fruits are formed in the shape of “pot-bellied” cones 8-9 centimeters long. But the small peppers are considered the best - they contain all the flavor of this variety. At the technical stage, the skin is green, which gradually turns red. The pulp is most pungent when unripe. And with ripening, the pungency decreases. Due to this circumstance, it is better to eat these peppers green. Unripe pods are added to food and pickled. And the red ones are processed into seasoning. They are delicious smoked.

Jalapeños are recommended to be grown in greenhouse conditions. The variety is particularly demanding of large amounts of heat and moisture. If plants are not provided with these two necessary components, they will shed flowers and ovaries.

The Habanero variety is divided into several varieties. These types differ in color and degree of pungency.

Mid-season and high-yielding variety of domestic selection (selected in 1943). One of the most famous varieties in our country. Perfectly adapted to various growing conditions. It can grow quietly in fairly harsh environmental conditions. However, for better yield during periods of cold weather, it is better to cover the beds with peppers with film or agrofibre.
The first fruits ripen on the bushes by 120 days, and by 140 they reach full maturity. The variety is characterized by long and consistent fruit ripening. Fruiting can take several months. Plants of determinate type (up to 50 centimeters). The bushes are compact in size, not spreading, semi-standard. They form numerous miniature fruits.
Small pods are shaped like cones. They are located on a drooping bush. At the stage of biological maturity they are scarlet in color. The skin is smooth and shiny, the walls are thin. The pulp is loose. The weight of the pods is only 10-12 grams.
The variety is characterized by good adaptability to different weather conditions. The yield reaches 3.5 kilograms of fruit per square meter. The fruits have a universal purpose. They can also be dried and ground into powder.
Cayenne red
A varietal group of spicy red varieties from America. All types of this pepper are characterized by strong pungency and an elongated shape of the fruit. Cayenne pepper plants are tall, growing up to 150 centimeters in height (a mandatory staking to a support is required). During the fruiting period, they are strewn with bright red cones. Up to 40 narrow and long (up to 12 centimeters) peppercorns can form on one bush.
The fruits on the bushes ripen and form unevenly over several months. The peppers themselves are thick-skinned, with a shiny glossy surface. The spiciness is moderate, so peppers can be added to various dishes, as well as seasonings and pickles.
Please note: Cayenne peppers yield best when grown in a greenhouse.
Cayenne peppers have gained popularity due to their beneficial properties. Peppers contain a number of useful elements that can treat many ailments. The essential and fatty oils contained in the bitter pods are of great value for medicine.
Landing
The sowing period begins 8-10 weeks before the planned transplantation of plants to a permanent location. The seeds are soaked in warm water, then in a disinfectant solution. Potassium permanganate or peroxide will do. To stimulate germination, Epin, Agat, Novosil are used.
Plant in moist, loose soil to a depth of 1 cm. Seedlings will appear after 10-15 days. Before germination, the containers are covered with film and a greenhouse microclimate is maintained (temperature 25-27 degrees, humidity up to 70%).
The seedlings are illuminated with photodiode or fluorescent lamps. The distance to the source is at least 10 cm.
Daylight hours are 14-16 hours (including the sun).
Picking and transplanting into pots is carried out when 2-3 leaves appear. You will need containers with a diameter of about 10 cm and the same height. To feed young bushes, use a diluted solution of mullein, manure, herbal tea, and Azotovit.
10 days before transplanting, the seedlings are placed on the terrace or balcony (at 14-15 degrees) for hardening. The first procedures last a quarter of an hour, then they are extended to 5-6 hours.
