Determinate varieties have a stem that stops growing after the formation of 3-5 inflorescences. The plants are early ripening, with a friendly yield. These varieties are better for open ground, unheated film greenhouses or in tunnels. 3. Large yellow - medium late, bush 1.2-1.5 meters, flat-rounded, weight of the first fruits from half a kilo to a kilogram, very productive. Similar to Kazakhstan yellow. It’s just that probably due to the climate there are 222 sunny days a year, ours is larger and grows stronger.

These three varieties are clearly pre-war; my aunt Rimma, 77, says that they have always grown.

After the war, trophy varieties appeared, there were several of them, but one remained, the most delicious - Raspberry Icicle.

However, some summer residents do not grow them, believing that tomato hybrids have lower taste qualities compared to varieties.
