Large varieties, such as the Heart Kiss tomato, have their advantages. Therefore, they are always in demand among Russian gardeners. They are loved for their unusual shape and size, since such tomatoes are often found in the form of ovals, flattened circles, and even hearts. Large-fruited tomatoes are one of the most important components of some salads. But they are also good for canning, especially juice and sauce.
Often varieties with large fruits are quite whimsical. But there are also those that are absolutely undemanding in care and get sick very little. A prime example of this is Heartfelt Kiss. This is a variety of tomatoes with fairly large and unusual fruits, which are distinguished by a pleasant taste and increased resistance to most ailments thanks to Siberian selection. Like all varieties of this type, it ripens quickly and also does not get sick, since diseases simply do not have time to spread to the fruit.
A heartfelt kiss can survive a fairly cold summer. Moreover, even in the absence of a large amount of sunlight, this variety will produce good yields.
Characteristics of the variety
This variety belongs to the north, but it cannot be called excessively early. If most of these tomatoes ripen in 90 days, then the fruits of the Heart's Kiss have to wait about 100. Nevertheless, this time is enough for them to fully ripen.
Considering that Heart Kiss has the ability to adapt to different weather conditions, you don’t have to worry about the tomatoes not ripening or going bad. However, you should not expose the fruits to extreme cold. If the summer in the region is very short, it is best to plant the bushes in a permanent place in the greenhouse.
The description and characteristics provided by the manufacturer indicate that the Heart Kiss variety is determinant, that is, the plant will not grow to enormous sizes: no more than 70 cm in open ground, and up to 1 m in a greenhouse.
However, it should be borne in mind that the plants are quite spreading. Therefore, it cannot be planted very close. You can grow up to 6 bushes per 1 m². With proper agricultural technology, each planting can produce 4 kg of sweet tomatoes.
It is believed that this variety can be grown even in Siberia. In order to obtain high yields in short summer conditions, it is necessary to plant the bushes in a permanent place on the 55th day from the moment of sowing the seeds. By this time, the seedlings should have grown stronger.
Caring for the variety Heart Kiss is ordinary. It is necessary to water the bushes 2 times a week during rainy summers, and also every evening during drought. Don't forget about the need to fertilize. For good yields, both natural fertilizers and mineral fertilizers are suitable.
Advantages and disadvantages
Since this variety is relatively new, the characteristics and description of the “Geranium Kiss” tomatoes are born from the experience of gardeners who consider the following disadvantages:
- the “Geranium Kiss” tomato does not ripen as quickly as indicated in the description, but 10-14 days later;
- from ripening in the heat, the base of the tomatoes does not turn red, but remains green;
- suffer from insect pests.
The variety has many more advantages:
- convenient shape of bushes for placement in the garden bed;
- does not require gartering or pinching;
- heat resistance;
- When laid correctly without squeezing, it tolerates transportation well;
- fruits are consumed in any form;
- can be grown anywhere, including the windowsill of an apartment.
The variety has both advantages and disadvantages
Description of fruits
The Heart Kiss variety is distinguished by its fruits. They are large, sweet and bright red in color. The main difference between these tomatoes is their shape, which resembles a heart.
- The fruits are suitable for any type of use, as evidenced by reviews from gardeners.
- The pulp of the Heart Kiss tomatoes is quite sugary and dense. Therefore, these tomatoes will be a good base for sauce or juice.
- However, tomatoes are especially good to eat fresh.
- These tomatoes are not suitable for canning, as they are quite large.
- The average weight of a tomato is 300 g. But huge fruits up to 800 g can appear on the lower branches.
Gardeners value Heart Kiss tomatoes not only for their shape, disease resistance and early ripening. One of the main advantages of this variety is its sugar content and very pleasant taste.
The Heart Kiss tomato appeared on the garden crops market recently and immediately gained popularity among lovers of unusual tomatoes. The plant is intended for growing in open space and in film structures. In the first case, the shoots are not very tall and the bushes reach a height of no more than 0.7 cm. When grown in a shelter, the plant can reach a height of up to 1.2 meters and in this case requires tying .
The description of the variety classifies it as a species with an average period of fruit ripening. The first harvest is harvested on average 3 months after the first shoots appear. Vegetables look great in salads and give them an unusual sweetish taste; they can be used in recipes when preparing preparations for the winter.
A spreading plant with a small amount of green mass is suitable for growing in difficult Siberian conditions and shows good yield in regions with a difficult climate and risky farming. The advantage of tomato is considered to be good resistance to various types of tomato diseases.
Review of heart-shaped tomatoes: the best declaration of love for gardeners
On the eve of Valentine's Day on February 14, I want to talk specifically about heart-shaped tomatoes - why are they not garden valentines! The holiday of love should not last only one day - this is a great injustice, so I urge you to include varieties and hybrids of tomatoes with heart-shaped fruits in your list of seeds for the upcoming summer season. Their choice is currently quite extensive and interesting. But I decided to talk only about those varieties and hybrids that were tested by myself or my friends in open ground on the southern coast of Crimea. All of them at our dachas turned out to be resistant to major diseases.

Description of fruits
Externally, tomatoes look neat and have a characteristic heart-shaped shape, for which the plant received its unusual name. Fruit characteristics:
- smooth surface;
- bright rich color;
- dense shiny skin, not prone to cracking during ripening and heat treatment.
The average weight of one tomato in a greenhouse reaches 300 grams, and one bush of the plant can produce up to 3.5 kg of harvest. When grown outdoors, the fruits are smaller in size, resembling even large cherry tomatoes. Leading experts rated the taste of the variety's fruits at 4.8 points, and reviews from gardeners confirm this opinion. The bush with heart-shaped tomatoes is recognized as one of the sweet varieties of tomatoes in the history of world breeding. This feature is due to the increased sugar content in vegetables.
Growing Issues
The plant is grown by seedlings. The planting time will be determined depending on the planned harvest date and the climatic conditions of the area. Sowing is carried out in small containers in pre-prepared soil. Before planting, it is recommended to treat the soil with potassium permanganate or a special preparation that prevents the occurrence of fungal plant diseases.
Cultivation is carried out at a room temperature of 23–25 C°. Seedlings respond well to moderate watering and the addition of mineral fertilizers. If there is a lack of sunlight, it is recommended to provide the shoots with additional lighting to prevent them from stretching and thinning.
A few days before planting in a permanent place, it is necessary to carry out the procedure of hardening the seedlings, which will increase their immunity and survival rate.
The recommended time for planting seedlings in a permanent place is considered to be 55 days of age of the shoots. Typically, transplantation is carried out in May or June, depending on the time of sowing the planting material and the climate of the area. The plant loves fertile soil made from the following components:
The shoots are formed into one main stem, tied and periodically pinched. Removing excess green mass contributes to better nutrition of the bushes and increases productivity.
With late planting and low ambient temperatures, not all the fruits of the plant have time to fully ripen. In this case, the tomatoes are collected and kept in a dark room until they turn completely red.
The Heart Kiss tomato variety is one of the most popular types of tomatoes among summer residents, although it appeared relatively recently. This is due not only to good taste characteristics, but also to the unusual appearance of the berries.
Features of the variety
You can grow Heart's Kiss tomatoes in any conditions - both in open ground and in film structures. The height of the bush when growing the plant in summer cottages does not exceed 0.7 cm, while a greenhouse plant of this variety reaches 1.2 m in height and needs to be tied to a support.
The plant is characterized by a small amount of green tops and inflorescences of a regular shape. Tomato brushes have the appearance of a bunch.
Heart Kiss refers to tomatoes that have an average ripening period. The collection of ripened fruits begins 90 days after the appearance of the first shoots. The fruits have an unusual, sweetish taste and are actively used for preparing salads, as well as preparations for the winter.

Fruit characteristics
Agronomists note the high yield of the variety, which averages 3.5 kg per bush. Moreover, the weight of each greenhouse tomato is 300 g, which indicates the large size of the berries. Heart kiss, grown in open beds, cannot boast of large sizes, and the appearance of the fruit resembles enlarged cherry tomatoes.
The taste characteristics of the berries are high. The sweetish taste of the berries is due to the high sugar content.
Experienced gardeners note that the last harvest of tomatoes may not ripen at the same time. In this case, it is recommended to place the fruits in a dark, cool place until they turn completely red.
Views of summer residents
Reviews from summer residents who have ever tried this type of tomato always have positive ratings.
Of course, because the amazing taste and subtle alluring aroma are very popular with the whole family, even the smallest members. Fans of this variety annually purchase Kiss seeds to always enjoy this wonderful taste. Lilia, 56 years old: I planted the tomato variety Sweet Kiss to try. It was not possible to understand the true taste, since this year almost the entire harvest was damaged due to dew. These small tomatoes were born with spots and not very sweet. They made juice from them. Apparently the taste has deteriorated due to illness.
Marina, 44 years old: I have been planting this tomato variety for two years in a row. Satisfied with the harvest. Bright, juicy, aromatic tomatoes. The taste is sweetish. The only negative is that you have to tie up bushes that are too tall. But that's probably all.
Victor, 52 years old: Our family loves cherry tomatoes. They have an extraordinary taste. And we decided to plant the Kiss tomato. We read reviews about it, and chose this variety. We have a northern side in the garden, and there are always constant winds, as well as lowland. But, despite this, the fruits ripened on time, there were many of them. The taste is excellent, there was exactly the sweetness that they talk about. The only thing I would like to note is that this culture loves good soil, well-fertilized. It will not always grow on empty soil. Happy harvest everyone!
Features of cultivation
Agronomists recommend germinating Heart Kiss seeds in advance. The start of the germination process depends on:
- The planned time for planting seedlings in the garden bed.
- Climatic features of the region.
For 100% seed germination, it is necessary to create the appropriate conditions:
- Stable temperature conditions. The air temperature in the room should not fall below 23-25 degrees Celsius.
- Regular, moderate watering. The earthen clod must not be allowed to dry out. The soil should be irrigated as its top layer dries.
- Fertilizer application. For proper development, a young plant needs feeding with mineral fertilizers and biostimulants.
- Good lighting. In case of insufficient natural light, experienced gardeners recommend illuminating young plants using ultraviolet lamps.
- Seedlings that have reached 55 days of age can be transferred to a permanent place of growth. Usually transplantation is carried out between May and June. Agronomists recommend acclimating young plants to a permanent habitat using the hardening method.
- The soil in the garden also requires preliminary preparation. It should be treated with drugs that can prevent the development of fungal diseases.
Features of care
- Implementation of timely watering.
- Loosening the soil.
- Timely removal of weeds.
- Periodic stepsoning.
- Application of organic fertilizers.
- Tying to a support.
- Timely collection of ripened fruits.
The variety Heart Kiss has gained its popularity among summer residents living in different climatic conditions. Its taste characteristics exceed all expectations, the shape of the fruit is surprising, and the yield and immunity prompt the desire to grow tomatoes on your own plot.
