Greenhouse care
This variety of tomato is an indeterminate tomato, that is, a tall plant, they reach a height of up to two meters, respectively, in order for the noble variety to feel comfortable, it is necessary to equip a greenhouse with sufficient height and area, and the greenhouse should also be positioned in such a way that the greenhouse was filled with sunlight.
Be sure to rationally distribute the plants when planting, calculating an area of two bushes per square meter. Thanks to good feeding with mineral fertilizers, fertility will accelerate, and when fruits appear, it is necessary to fertilize with potassium fertilizers.
If you pinch off excess inflorescences, you will only get large fruits.
Tomatoes that are grown in a greenhouse are very fond of drafts, therefore, when making a greenhouse, it is imperative to equip the windows.
You should also pay attention to the general condition of the soil so that it does not dry out, and when watering, water does not get on the bushes, this way you can avoid the appearance of fungal diseases on the bush. In order for the imperial hybrid to fertile well, you need to take care of these plants, because by following all the rules for caring for tomatoes in a greenhouse, you will achieve a fairly high yield and success in growing the imperial tomato.

Description of the tomato variety Rosanna F1 and its characteristics
The Rosanna F1 tomato is a hybrid, bred by Russian breeders. The variety has a number of advantages.
The tomato hybrid "Rosanna F1" is mid-season, determinate, productive, large-fruited. Shows resistance to many tomato diseases. Rosanna F1 tomatoes are grown in open ground. Tomatoes of this variety can be grown all year round in heated greenhouses.
Description of the variety: The height of the bush of this hybrid is up to 0.7-0.8 m. The stem is strong and stable. It is necessary to form a stem as the plant grows into 1-2 trunks, which will increase the yield of the bush. Since the fruits are quite large, it is necessary to tie the trunk to a support. The leaves are light, and when the plant gains growth, they become dark, slightly corrugated.
The plant is tall and spreading, so planting a tomato bush is done using the 50x40 cm technology. Per 1 sq. m plant up to 4 plants. The period from seed germination to fruiting of the plant is 95-105 days. The first tomato will ripen in 90 days!
Resistance of the tomato variety "Rosanna" to diseases:
№ | Type of disease | Degree of stability |
1 | Verticillium wilt (Va, Vd) | high |
2 | Fusarium wilt (Fol 1–2) | high |
3 | Cladosporiosis (Ff) | high |
4 | Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV) | high |
5 | tomato nematode (Mi, Ma) | high |
Characteristics of the fruit of the Rosanna F1 tomato: medium, pink, round in shape, with slight ribbing of the barrels, fleshy, sugary tomatoes at the break. The skin of these tomatoes is tender but dense. Tomatoes of this variety do not crack in the garden and when transported over long distances.
They have a good delicate taste and pleasant aroma. Used fresh, in soups and salads. Small fruits are preserved in their entirety, and also processed into juice, puree, and sauce. This variety has positive reviews. Commodity quality, as well as taste and transportability are noted.
The clusters of this hybrid form an average of 6 fruits. Their sizes are the same 150 - 200 grams. The yield of tomato "Rosanna F1" is over 12 kg per 1 sq. m.
Sowing and growing seedlings
Tomato “manhood”: description of the variety, photos and reviews
There are no special manipulations during sowing and growing seedlings of Catherine the Great tomatoes, but knowledge must be mastered, since it is the stage of raising seedlings that is the key to a good harvest. First of all, it is necessary to prepare the soil for sowing; it is advisable to sow the seeds at the end of February, in individual peat containers. Seeds purchased in a specialized store have already been treated with a manganese solution; this procedure is carried out in order to disinfect the seeds; it can also be supported in a growth stimulator so that the bastre germinates.
At the time of growing seedlings, it is enough to feed them twice with mineral fertilizers, preferably combined with watering.
The most important components in growing seedlings are phosphorus-potassium and nitrogen fertilizers; thanks to vitamins, the root system and shoots will form well enough in the soil, and the soil will be saturated with all the beneficial properties. Before planting seedlings, you must harden them off; you need to start two weeks before planting; as a rule, this is done when 5 to 6 leaves appear on the bush.
Hardening of seedlings begins from one hour, in this way: they are taken outside every day on warm and clear days, if necessary they are shaded so that the seedlings are not exposed to direct sunlight, increasing the duration of the seedlings’ stay in the fresh air to three hours.
You can harden both outdoors and directly in the greenhouse. The soil for planting seedlings must be prepared in advance, loosened well, fertilized, and formed along the bed, depending on the variety. Just before planting, it is necessary to treat the soil with potassium permanganate, this solution is very simple to prepare, you should take 2 grams of potassium permanganate and dilute it in twenty liters of warm water, for each hole you will need 1 liter of solution.
Before planting seedlings in a permanent place in the greenhouse, it is necessary to cut off several leaves from the bush, this will help avoid the occurrence and development of infections. To prevent these bushes from growing at a rapid pace and the tomatoes to take root better, it is necessary, after planting the seedlings, not to water for two weeks.
So that the temperature ranges on average from + 22 to + 26. C, but not lower than + 20 C.
Characteristics and description
Considering the increasing prevalence of the Artist f1 tomato: the characteristics and description of the variety will allow you to understand why it is so loved by summer residents and farmers.
Tomato Artist f1 is an early ripening hybrid that begins to bear fruit from 110 days after the appearance of the first shoots. It has dense, beautiful fruits and excellent yield. Confidently winning greenhouses and the hearts of gardeners in Russia and post-Soviet countries.
Description of the bush
Since the Artist f1 tomato is an indeterminate type, its height reaches one and a half meters, and sometimes more (depending on the height of the greenhouses). This hybrid is ideal for growing in greenhouses. It is formed into one, sometimes two stems. The leaves are medium-sized, located at a slight angle to the main stem.
Brushes are laid after 3 sheets, the first - after 9-10 sheets. Usually the plant produces a full 8 clusters, but with good care and a long growing period, it can “feed” 10-12 clusters. If you do not plan to heat the greenhouse, then after small fruits have formed on 8 clusters, pinch the stem through two leaves.
This will allow the fruits to fully form, and the plant not to waste energy on fruits that do not have time to grow and ripen.
Description of fruits
Artist f1 is a truss-type tomato. Its brushes are distributed evenly throughout the bush on both sides of the stem. The fruits are uniform in size and very attractive in appearance. The maturation of the brushes occurs simultaneously, which allows them to be removed and transported or stored in whole brushes.
The inflorescence contains 5-8 fruits. Usually their weight ranges from 140-150 grams; in the first brush they can sometimes be slightly larger and reach 200 grams. This fruit size is ideal for canning and processing. In addition, “medium-fruited” tomatoes are in demand on the market, and therefore are competitive in the market.
The fruits have a smooth, round, sometimes slightly ribbed shape. The color of ripe tomatoes is bright scarlet, without a green spot on the stalk. The pulp is dense, with a high dry matter content. Thanks to its durable skin, the tomato has good transportability, which means it is not afraid of transportation and is resistant to mechanical damage, dents and cracks in the fruit. In addition, it is perfectly stored for a month without loss of taste.
Purpose of the variety
Tomato Artist f1 is a universal-purpose hybrid.
The dense and beautiful fruit is excellent for consumption both on its own and in salads with other types of vegetables. The evenness of the fruit allows them to be used in pickling and canning.
And the dense pulp, which contains a high concentration of dry matter, makes the hybrid ideal for processing into ketchup and tomato paste.
Resistance to diseases and pests
This hybrid, due to its immunity, is genetically resistant to many harmful infections. First of all, it perfectly resists such a dangerous fungus as biotris, which causes gray rot of fruits and stems. The Artist also successfully repels the root-knot nematode and tobacco mosaic virus. But these diseases are practically untreatable.
It is very difficult to maintain crop rotation in greenhouses, and constantly growing the same crops is bound to cause fungal infections. Sometimes even chemicals cannot cope with them. Unlike many other varieties, this hybrid is resistant to cladosporiosis (brown spot) and fusarium wilt. This makes it simply indispensable for gardeners who want to get a stable high yield of tomatoes. After all, the less the plant is treated with chemicals, the lower the costs of growing products and the healthier the fruits.
However, you should not rely only on the breeders who endowed the Artist with great health. Preventive measures to protect plants from diseases and pests will help the plant reveal all the capabilities of a given variety.
Posano F1
I planted Pozzano F1 this season for the first time, seeds from the original professional packs from the Cinderella joint venture.
Two bushes sat on the far (third) bed of the polycarbonate greenhouse, on the edge. Care is the same as other tomatoes - fertilizing three times a season with Nutrisol or Master at the root, watering as needed, shading with white lutrasil in the heat. In July, I sprayed it once with a tank mixture (Isabion, Luna Tranquility, Consento, Plantafol).
Pozzano top right:
The bushes did not suffer from anything at all, they were neat, did not spread out over half the greenhouse, were well leafed, there were not many stepsons and they were not aggressive. There was no top. The tomatoes were all calibrated; mine were thick, even sausages, with a very small nose or dent at the bottom, dense, without voids. The skin is thin. They hung on the clusters without becoming soft or falling off, even if the stalk began to turn yellow. I knitted until frost, until the bushes were removed.
The taste was ordinary tomato, there was no special sweetness, like Summer Sun, for example. But the tomato is tasty, excellent in salads with mayonnaise, and does not overwhelm the taste with sweetness. I tried to dry it, it turned out well, but Cornabelle is drier, so it’s better to dry it. Pozzano is more juicy, you cut it and it drips.
I didn’t close them in jars; for small jars they are large, except that the very last ones on the upper clusters were smaller, but the bulk of the fruits are 10-11 centimeters long. Only if you close it in three-liter bottles...
In the photo Pozzano and Bonaparte:
Pozzano used fully ripe ones for lecho. I dipped the fruits in boiling water for a few seconds and then in well water; the thin skin was easily removed without pulp. During cooking, the pulp partially spread into puree on its own; there was no need to blend it. It will probably be good for juice; the shape allows it to be passed through a juicer without cutting into pieces, entirely.
I really liked the hybrid. Excellent for processing, productive, convenient shape, disease resistance and the ability to preserve the harvest on the bush for a long time.
Collection before cleaning the greenhouse 01.11.20:
Regarding the shape of Pozzano fruits. There are two types of photos of this hybrid on the Internet - pepper-shaped nesting dolls with a long pointed nose and thick, even cylinders with a small navel. I am completely confident in the grade of mine, since the joint venture is definitely the original, and if there is a nosy version of Pozzano, it is also guaranteed to come from a professional pack without repackaging, then this means that these are variations of the norm.
I would like to see Pozzano from other forum members.

Reviews from gardeners about Pozzano F1 tomatoes:
A very beautiful bush, a lot of fruits, not painful, although out of the total number of tomato plants, one on the third cluster fell ill with blossom end rot. In fact, all these characteristics can be given to other hybrids. I was prejudiced against hybrids, but now, having grown hybrids, I have changed my mind. It is very pleasant to watch how they grow, set fruit (many are already bearing their sixth cluster), and practically do not get sick with minimal care. I didn’t like the Chukhloma hybrid. Somewhat flimsy. In the heat, the leaves withered, died every day, and were gone overnight in the morning. The rains passed, it became cooler - I got stronger, but - there are not enough tomatoes on the bush, almost all of them got sick with blossom end rot, so in general I came to the conclusion - the hybrid is not mine. (Tatyna, Nikolaev, Ukraine)
I chose them based on their characteristics due to their resistance to blossom end rot and especially for greenhouse cultivation. But there was confusion and several indeterminate hybrids accidentally ended up in the open ground, including Pozzano. Having noticed during the growing process that these were indets, I had to change their stakes and grow them into two or three shoots. It lends itself very easily to this forming and carries the load remarkably well. The fruits did not shrink at all. The bushes did not suffer from any disease until the frost and kept bearing fruit all the time. Was not noticed in the shedding of flowers and ovaries. I really want to try it in the greenhouse. Almost all of it went into drying. (Galina, Western Ukraine)
For the third year now, the indeterminate tomato Pozzano (Olexandr Mamchur, Ukraine) has been one of my favorites.
Features of cultivation, planting and care

Description of Tomato Posano F1
Agricultural technology Tomato Pozano F1
Tomato Posano F1 is a powerful, tall plant, reaches a height of 2-3 m. The sowing period for seedlings is from March 15 - 20 - to March 30 - April 5 45 -55 days (maximum 60 days) before planting seedlings in the ground (greenhouses) . The closer to the bright and warm spring days you sow the seeds, the higher the solar activity. All phases of seedling development pass quickly. Sowing of seeds is carried out in seedling containers, at the bottom of which there is drainage from fine charcoal, pour 5 - 7 cm of well-mixed seedling soil. Level the soil. Make grooves 1 cm deep at a distance of 3 centimeters from each other. Place dry hybrid tomato seeds into the grooves, lightly pressing them into the soil with a fingertip or a toothpick at a distance of 2 - 2.5 cm from each other. Cover the top with DRY soil in a layer of 0.5 cm. Gently compact the top layer of soil (press it against the base layer). Cover the seedling containers with film to create a greenhouse effect and put them in a warm place with a temperature of 28 - 30 degrees Celsius. When shoots appear, after 4 - 7 (maximum 10) days, remove the film and place the tomatoes under round-the-clock lighting for 3-5 days. With the emergence of seedlings, the temperature for the first two to three days is reduced to plus 15-18 degrees during the day and 10-12 degrees at night. Daylight hours for tomatoes are set at least 14 - 16 hours a day under lighting or on a light and warm, draft-free window sill. A week after germination, the temperature regime is changed to plus 20 -25 degrees during the day and 12 - 15 degrees at night. After 2 weeks from germination, seedlings are planted in individual seedling containers. Tomatoes can be planted in the ground provided that the soil temperature in the ridges is above plus 12-14 degrees. The hybrid is characterized by tolerance to blossom end rot and is highly resistant to nightshade diseases, as well as the effects of harmful insects and fungi. It is recommended to form the plant into one stem.

Description of the tomato variety Hurricane F1
The tomato plant of this hybrid is standard, with average formation of shoots and leaves. The bush is indeterminate, reaches a height of 1.8-2.2 m. The leaf shape is ordinary, the size is moderate, the color is classic green.
The inflorescence of the Hurricane F1 hybrid is simple (the first is formed after 6-7 leaves, the next after it - every 3 leaves. The peduncle of the fruit is articulated. The hybrid is early ripening, the first harvest can be obtained when 92-111 days have passed, after how the shoots will appear. You can see what Hurricane tomatoes look like in the photo.
The “Hurricane” variety is considered a hybrid of early ripening
Description of fruits
The tomato is flat-round in shape, with a slightly ribbed surface; inside there are 2-3 seed chambers. The skin is dense and does not crack, which is why the tomatoes tolerate transportation well. The color of ripe fruits is red. They are small, weighing only 33-42 g. The flesh is dense but tender, the taste is noted as good or excellent. Most ripe tomatoes are marketable.
Description of the variety
The variety belongs to the indeterminate types of hybrids. The bush is medium leafy, medium tall. Inflorescences are simple with an intermediate structure.
Distinctive features
The plant has leaves of the usual tomato type, yellow-green in color. The variety is mid-early, the fruits ripen a maximum of 124 days after planting in the ground. When grown in greenhouses, the bushes can produce a large harvest - 12.7 kg of fruits per 1 sq. meter of land.
The plant reaches a height of 70 cm. Russian summer residents fell in love with Zhenaros for its high stress resistance and resistance to the main diseases of the nightshade family. At the same time, the plant is unpretentious: it tolerates extremely hot weather and produces a good harvest even on depleted soil.
Fruit characteristics
The fruits of this tomato variety are different:
- flat-round or round shape;
- high density;
- glossy skin;
- a ripe tomato turns red;
- maximum weight 270 grams;
- fleshiness;
- sweetness;
- aroma.
The photo below shows fully ripe fruits.
At room temperature, fully ripened fruit can be stored for 12-14 days. At lower temperatures, shelf life increases.
Productivity
The first fully ripened fruits on the plant appear on the 100th day after planting in the ground. The maximum period for their appearance on the bush is 124 days. The minimum weight is 110-115 grams, but can reach 200-270 grams.
In open ground, the yield will be 8 kg per square meter. meters, in greenhouse conditions - 12.7 kg.
Transplanting to the garden
The main rule: the air temperature should be +16 – +18 degrees. Plants are planted at the age of 50-60 days.
Landing
It is recommended to harden Zhenaros tomatoes 2 weeks before planting in the garden. To do this, boxes with seedlings are taken out onto the balcony or open veranda for several hours a day.
Plants are planted in the beds using the square-cluster method: the bushes are planted in the corners of an imaginary square, each side of which is 50-60 cm. An irrigation hole with a diameter of 40 cm is made in the center. 1 liter of ash or a handful of superphosphate and potassium sulfate is placed on the bottom, and a beveled one is placed on top. grass without seeds and rhizomes.
Despite the fact that Zhenaros is an unpretentious variety, there are secrets of caring for the plant that will increase its productivity.
Tomatoes should be watered as the soil dries with warm water under the roots. You should not allow water to get on the leaves - this can lead to late blight.
Loosening the soil and weeding are carried out immediately after watering. If roots are visible on the stem near the ground, the plant is spudded.
At least 4-5 times during the summer they are fed with potassium-phosphorus fertilizer.
The variety is tall, so by pinching it is formed into one stem: all the stalks are removed, and 8-10 clusters are left on the main stem. The bushes are tied to pre-prepared trellises.
Diseases and pests
According to manufacturers, Zhenaros tomatoes are resistant to a whole range of diseases:
Shoots extremely rarely suffer from golden nematode galls.
Features of agricultural technology
Kasamori tomatoes are grown not only in film structures, but also in other types of greenhouses. In regions with a warm climate, plantings are possible directly in open ground, as well as under temporary shelters. And since this hybrid ripens early, it is perfect for year-round cultivation in heated greenhouses.
The formation of a tomato bush is carried out in 1 stem. All growing lateral stepsons must be removed.
Advice. To prevent new shoots from growing in place of the removed ones, they are cut off, leaving a small stump that will prevent the emergence of a new shoot.
