I really love tomatoes.
I have very little experience in growing them, but I have already become acquainted with many varieties and hybrids. At the same time, in April I sowed several varieties of early-ripening tomatoes, including Captain. All 5 seeds sown sprouted together on days 5-7, sowed with dry seeds without any treatments. The period from full germination to the first ripened fruits is stated to be 80 days. So, it completely coincided with me. But other tomatoes were late. I don’t know what’s causing this, perhaps it’s not the tomato weather this year since the end of June. But the Captain was the very first to ripen on the bush, we eat it from the first days of July.

I didn’t have any problems with the seedlings; they didn’t stretch out, didn’t fall over, and grew quickly and amicably. I sent my Captains on a free voyage (two in the greenhouse, the rest in the open air) in the last days of May. They were already blooming by this time. The bushes reached a height of approximately 60-70 cm, as stated by the originator.

There are no problems with care: when planting in the greenhouse, I tied the bushes with twine, and placed pegs in the open garden bed. And then I left. I was absent for the first half of June, the Captain was free sailing, and so were the others.
